An old show and tell from my old blog, a real classic; namely the Hardy Heron release of Ubuntu. Around this time I was tinkering alot with the window compositor Compiz, to enable all these cool effects:
All these eventually made it into other OS:es, but remember folks where it all began!
Unfortunately, I cannot find the original source of the wallpaper. The bottom pane shows a few applications pinned, from left to right: Gnome-Terminal, Firefox, Thunderbird, Pidgin, Audacious and Deluge.
